Nancy Labbe

Program Director, The Nature Conservancy
Session: A Decade of Progress: USRSB Past Leadership Panel

Nancy leads The Nature Conservancy’s North America Regenerative Grazing Lands strategy, a key component of the organization’s North America Regenerative Agriculture program. She leads an interdisciplinary team of science, conservation, and policy experts dedicated to working with ranchers to restore and protect 240 million acres of intact grazing lands by 2030. Nancy first joined TNC in 2020 as director of the Northern Great Plains Rangelands program, and before that, she spent eight years at World Wildlife Fund. Throughout her career, she has numerous positions throughout the beef and bison supply chains, experience which serves her well as she engages with and supports grazing land coalitions, rancher-led collaborations, and some of the world’s largest purchasers of beef with efforts to improve the sustainability and environmental footprint of beef production in North America.
