Jasmine Bruno is a scientific program director at the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research (FFAR), where she manages the Animal Production portfolio within FFAR’s Cultivating Thriving Production Systems Priority Area. Prior to joining FFAR, Jasmine worked at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), researching system-appropriate genetics to support food security in sub-Saharan Africa, and with the livestock team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, contributing to strategy and managing relationships. She has also researched the U.S. beef sector, examining social and ecological change in Colorado ranching communities. Jasmine holds degrees from Colby College, the University of California, Davis, and Colorado State University.
